Launch of Box Van trailer range

After nearly 50 years of designing and producing premium quality car and machine transporter trailers, Brian James Trailers is now applying its expertise and experience to launch into the ‘Box Van’ trailer sector with a game-changing range of trailers.

‘It has always been part of the long-term plan, says CEO Lewis James, grandson of founder Brian James, ‘but we had other priorities in the last few years, namely revamping our product range and managing the surge in demand during COVID. But now we are launching a Box Van trailer that we believe redefines this category with its quality and innovative design.’

Beyond the exceptional build quality and premium materials found in our enclosed car trailer ranges, one of the distinguishing features is the multi-function split rear loading door. This operates as either a ramp, doors that fold back completely against the trailer body, or a combination of both. Paired with the low bed height, this design makes loading and unloading easier while improving towing performance.

Available in a variety of sizes and capacities, the BJT Box Van comes with a market-leading level of standard specification, including alloy wheels, LED lighting, multiple fixing points, and pedestrian doors on each side. There’s also a comprehensive list of options that allows owners to personalise their trailer with transport kits for go-karts, motorcycles, and bicycles, large gullwing side doors, a reverse camera, and more.

‘We are confident that our Box Van will be a success,’ adds Lewis. ‘The majority of trailers in this sector tend to be aimed at a lower price and quality point, and we believe that there will be significant demand for our premium offering, just as we have seen in our traditional market sectors.’
